Spike Lee Slams Motherf***er Trump, Says He Didn’t Denounce The Klan

At a viewing of his new film “BacKkKlansman” at Cannes, director Spike Lee launched into an F-bomb-riddled rant targeting President Trump. He accuses Trump of never denouncing white supremacy following the deadly riot at Charlottesville that involved white supremacists, Black Lives Matter and Antifa.

There were more than enough racists and hate to go around that fateful day. But President Trump did denounce it and he’s not a racist. The same cannot be said for a black radical such as Spike Lee who hearts the Black Panthers and other black power groups.

“That motherf***er was given a chance to say we are about love, and not hate, and that motherf***er did not denounce the motherf***ing Klan, the Alt-Right, and those Nazi motherf***ers,” said Lee, Variety reports. “It was a defining moment, and he could’ve said to the world…that we were better than that.” Man, I certainly hope we are better than the likes of Spike Lee. From Lee, “The so-called American cradle of democracy, that’s bullshit. The United States of America was built on the genocide of native people and slavery. That is the fabric of the United States of America. As my Brooklyn brother Jay-Z would say, facts.” As I put it, bull crap.

Lee claimed over and over that Trump did not condemn the “hate.” But Trump did repeatedly denounce all acts of hate. Trump did not, however, initially condemn white supremacists specifically, choosing instead to denounce acts of hatred and violence from “many sides.” That would include Black Lives Matter and Antifa.

“We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!” Trump tweeted in the immediate aftermath of Charlottesville. But it wasn’t good enough for the left, especially in Hollywood and black celebrities are still running with the ‘racist’ mantra. Truth be damned. Trump addressed the tragedy at greater length in a statement at his golf club in Bedford, New Jersey. “We condemn in the strong possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides,” he said, repeating the phrase “on many sides.”

After the left repeatedly claimed that Trump did not specifically call out white supremacist groups, Trump addressed the issue again a few days later, this time condemning by name the KKK, Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists. But I noticed that the left never did condemn the violence by Black Lives Matter and Antifa. “Racism is evil,” Trump said in a press conference two days after the riot. “And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including KKK, Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans. Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America.”

Lee’s new movie is based on the true story of a black police detective who was able to infiltrate the Klan in the 1970s. He reportedly received a 10-minute standing ovation following its screening. From what I’ve seen so far of the movie, it romanticizes groups such as the terroristic Black Panthers. Black or white, if the racist shoe fits. The first trailer for Hollywood director Spike Lee’s latest film features a group of Ku Klux Klan members spouting the slogan “America First.” The slogan-shouting scene featuring notorious KKK leader David Duke toasting “America First” occurs near the end of the trailer.

Lee’s movie stars John David Washington, son of actor Denzel Washington, as Detective Ron Stallworth who is assigned the task of infiltrating the Black Panthers to ferret out their dangerous plans. But after feeling guilty for wearing a wire to entrap the black power group, the detective begins phoning a local KKK chapter to even the score a bit by entrapping the white power group, too. Adam Driver plays Stallworth’s police partner who becomes the “white face” of Stallworth’s phoned-in radical white power racist.

In a recent tour for the new film, Lee attacked President Trump calling him “Agent Orange” and insisting he is on the “wrong side of history” for his remarks during the riots at Charlottesville, Virginia, last year.
