Trump Wants ‘Weak’ Oprah to Run in 2020

Speaking to a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump teased the crowd with the dirt he has on fellow billionaire media mogul Oprah Winfrey and her rumored 2020 run.

Thousands of people lined up for hours to see Trump support local state Rep. Rick Saccone in his run for Congress, and Trump brought the same energy he had from his 2015 and 2016 rallies to attack the current crop of offenders on the left.

Trump told the crowd:

“I would love Oprah to win [the Democratic Primary]. I would love to beat Oprah. I know her weakness. Wouldn’t we love to run against Oprah. I would love it. I would love it. That would be a painful experience for her.”

Trump did not talk about the exact weaknesses he knew, but he went on:

“I know her very well. I was on her last show, or one of the last, the last week. She had Donald Trump, and Donald Trump’s family. My, my, my, we have come down a long way, haven’t we?”

Oprah And Harvey Weinstein

In November of 2017, Oprah was accused of being a “Weinstein Enabler” after winning some kind of Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Gloves. She spent part of her acceptance speech on sexual harassment but did not seem to take any of the blame herself for being equally as powerful as Harvey but letting his actions slide.

But now she’s in the media crying about the “bullying” phone calls she would receive from Weinstein. She said that she was “friendly” with him but that she didn’t know what was going on with the young actresses. Yeah, right.

During the initial flood of complaints against Weinstein, British actress Kadian Noble claimed that she felt confidant that Weinstein would be respectful because Oprah was “swinging off his arm” at a party. She then claims that she was forced to perform sexual acts in the bathroom.

Oprah’s Fair Share of Scandal

If Oprah decides to run — and I don’t think she would, because she strikes me as someone who would rather enjoy her mansions and yacht parties — then there are oodles of past scandals that are already known. Oprah’s former step mother Barbara Winfrey has described the relationship the media star has with her friend Gayle King to be “bizarre” and “unhealthy.” So, it sounds like there are people in the wings just dying to spill more about Oprah to the press.

Famously, Oprah had publicized a memoir about drug abuse called A Million Little Pieces. When it was found to be a made-up sham, Oprah invited author James Frey to her show before unleashing on him in front of the cameras.

Missing pieces of the scandal puzzle will surely be found out: Any trouble with money, or with the prizes she once regularly doled out will be brought to the light.

Supporters Love Trump, Loved The Rally

Speaking with media, supporter Brian McLaughlin said that he had been to a Trump rally once before but that the Secret Service wasn’t allowing anyone else in, despite having waited for hours.McLaughlin said that people “stay out here by the thousands… they can’t wait to go see someone who actually deserves to be in the White House.”

Another supporter, Nate Kime, drove to Pittsburgh from Blairsville with two friends.

“I just want to support my president. I’ve never seen an actual American president before, so I’m really excited. I voted for him, so I wanted to come and see what he had to say about our area.”

Another man who was unable to enter said that he was impressed with the “overwhelming support” of people wanting to be there. Seven more years!

Oprah Leads Biased 60 Minutes Panel

Last month, Trump tweeted about a round table discussion on Trump and America that included Oprah, who was asking questions of the panelists. Some of her questions included extremely biased gems like:

  • “Who here believes that he made the comment about, quote, ‘s***hole countries?’ You think all presidents have used the term s***hole?”
  • “OK, so polls are showing that respect for the United States is eroding around the world. Do you care what the world thinks of the United States?”
  • “During the campaign, we are all aware that some 20 women accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior. There was the Access Hollywood tape of course. What do you all think about that?”

Donald Trump Talks About Presidential Run… in 1988

Three decades ago, Donald Trump appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s show. In this three minute segment he teases a run for President. Trump has been working towards this for a long, long time. It wasn’t a fast decision, and everything he is doing for America has been what he’s been planning for longer than some of his voters have been alive.

Some great quotes from way back that sound just like a modern speech:

  • “I’d make our allies pay their fair share [with regard to foreign policy].”
  • “I have tremendous respect for the Japanese people… they’re beating the hell out of us.”
  • “I don’t have the inclination [to run for President]… I do get tired of seeing what’s happening to this country, and if it got so bad, I would never want to rule it out totally ’cause I really am tired of seeing what’s happening with this country, how we’re making other people live like kings and we’re not.”
