FBI Informant Makes Shocking Accusations Against Clinton/Obama On Uranium One

Douglas Campbell, the informant in the Uranium One case, testified in front of three separate congressional committees yesterday over the Uranium One deal. In his testimony, he accused the Obama administration of making decisions that directly benefited the Russian government and their goals of gaining geopolitical advantages over the United States. His testimony implicated both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. This is a guy who was with the CIA for 15 to 20 years as an agent. Then he was with the FBI when the Uranium One deal blossomed in 2005. Campbell’s testimony was in written form and was beyond damning. Don’t go looking for sane reporting on this from the media. Soros funded Snopes immediately came out and said no wrong-doing was found on the part of Clinton. Right.

The informant claimed that Russian nuclear officials told him “at various times that they expected APCO — an American lobbying firm — to apply a portion of the $3 million annual lobbying fee it was receiving from the Russians to provide in-kind support for the Clinton’s Global Initiative.” Kick-backs, bribery, corruption… does that sound like ‘collusion’ to you? APCO Worldwide was hired by Moscow, the informant said, to influence the Obama administration through Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.

“The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months,” he explained. “APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the US-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement,” he added in the written statement. Of course, APCO stringently denied this accusation, but why would Campbell lie? He has cancer and he wants the truth to get out before he dies. This was a plot by the Russians to get control of our uranium industry and Obama and Clinton were easily bought and controlled by them.

“APCO Worldwide’s activities involving client work on behalf of Tenex and The Clinton Global Initiative were totally separate and unconnected in any way,” the statement from APCO read. “All actions on these two unconnected activities were appropriate, publicly documented from the outset and consistent with regulations and the law. Any assertion otherwise is false and unfounded.”

In fact, a spokesman for Clinton told The Hill that the allegations were a distraction from investigations into President Trump and his presidential campaign in 2016. “Just yesterday the committee made clear that this secret informant charade was just that, a charade,” the statement read. “Along with the widely debunked text-message-gate and Nunes’ embarrassing memo episode, we have a trifecta of GOP-manufactured scandals designed to distract from their own President’s problems and the threat to democracy he poses,” the statement concluded. Bull crap. All of what they just called a ‘distraction’ showcases the corruption of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Democrats have cast doubt on Campbell’s credibility, setting the stage for a battle with Republicans over his testimony. But I would say that Campbell’s credibility is solid unlike the Steele dossier. Republicans are seeking to use Campbell’s account to expand their investigations beyond the 2016 election and Trump to possible questions about Russian graft during the Obama administration and that is exactly what should happen here. Campbell was put under a gag order by Obama to shut him up.

Campbell accused Obama administration officials of making decisions that ended up benefiting the Russian nuclear industry, which he said was seeking to build a monopoly in the global uranium market to help President Vladimir Putin seek a geopolitical advantage over the United States. We already import in excess of 90 percent of the uranium we use in nuclear reactors, so why would we give Russia any portion of our uranium stores? Campbell wrote that Russian nuclear executives “boasted” during vodka-fueled meetings monitored by the FBI about “how weak the US government was in giving away uranium business and were confident that Russia would secure the strategic advantage it was seeking in the US uranium market.”

When Campbell asked his FBI handlers why they weren’t going after all this more aggressively, he was told it was just politics. He said that he was told by the FBI that the politics of the Obama administration overruled justice from taking place against the criminal activity that was happening. Plus, Obama was involved in this because he wanted the Iran deal to go through and the Russians and Iranians are bed together.

Obama was briefed on all of this twice. This means that Obama was aware of the crimes that were committed by the Russian officials. They were strong-arming companies, threatening people and bribing anyone they could to get their paws on uranium here in the US.

The FBI forced Campbell to pay $500,000 of his own money to Russian officials as bribes to facilitate his cover and the bureau never reimbursed him despite their praise of his work and the fact that the ordeal was so stressful that he developed serious, life-threatening illnesses.

“I was frustrated watching the US government make numerous decisions benefiting Rosatom and Tenex while those entities were engaged in serious criminal conduct on US soil,” Campbell said in his testimony, as reported by The Hill’s John Solomon. “Tenex and Rosatom were raking in billions of US dollars by signing contracts with American nuclear utility clients at the same time they were indulging in extortion by using threats to get bribes and kickbacks, with a portion going to Russia for high ranking officials. I remember one response I got from an agent when I asked how it was possible CFIUS would approve the Uranium One sale when the FBI could prove Rosatom was engaged in criminal conduct,” Campbell continued. “His answer: Ask your politics.”

I’ll close with what Sara Carter had to report on some of the key players in this scandal:

It wasn’t until years later in 2015 that American businessman Daren Condrey, whose company Transportation Logistics International, plead guilty to conspiring to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and conspiring to commit wire fraud, according to the DOJ.

Russian national Vadim Mikerin, who was a top official of the Russian nuclear arms subsidiary Tenex and would later become president of Tenam the American subsidiary of Rosatom, was also sentenced in December 2015. Mikerin, who only plead guilty to money laundering, was arrested for a racketeering scheme that dated back to 2004. He was sentenced to 48 months in prison.

Boris Rubizhevsky, another Russian national from New Jersey, who was president of the security firm NEXGEN Security, was also involved in the conspiracy and plead guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering in 2015. He served as a consultant to Tenam and to Mikerin. Rubizhevsky was sentenced to prison last year along with three years of supervised release and a $26,500 fine, according to a recent Reuters report.

And Mark Lambert, 54, a co-owner of Transportation Logistics International, was charged this month on an “11-count indictment with one count of conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and to commit wire fraud, seven counts of violating the FCPA, two counts of wire fraud and one count of international promotion money laundering,” as stated in the DOJ press release. Lambert’s charges stem from an alleged scheme to bribe Mikerin in order to secure contracts with TENEX, according to the DOJ release.

If you are looking for Russian collusion, this is it right here. Not some fake propaganda dossier from the Kremlin. Clinton and Obama must be held accountable for their crimes in the Uranium One scandal.
