Gun Range Owner Who Banned Muslims Now Running for Governor Of Arkansas

Jan Morgan became somewhat of a celebrity in Arkansas. Not only is she beautiful, she’s an NRA instructor and owns a gun range. One where Muslims are banned from visiting. That controversial move has kept her in the news on and off for a long, long time now. Now, she has announced that she will run for the governorship in Arkansas against Asa Hutchinson in the Republican primary in 2018. That should be very interesting and highly entertaining to say the least. Jan is a conservative’s conservative and she is very open about her views… on just about everything. It should not surprise anyone she is throwing her MAGA hat into the political ring.
Morgan owns the Gun Cave Indoor Firing Range in Hot Springs. She made her announcement to run on Dec. 31st. Hutchinson was elected in 2014. Morgan is using her business and local support to attack him as not being conservative enough. She’s been very critical of him, saying the governor “campaigns like a conservative Republican but governs like a liberal Democrat,” according to the Texarkana Gazette. Truth is so very refreshing.
Morgan made major headlines in 2014 when she delivered a direct message to radical Islamic extremists and banned Muslims from her firing range, as Fox News reported at the time. “I refuse to train the next Islamic terrorist,” Morgan wrote on her site JanMorganMedia, explaining her decision. She’s equally loved and hated. She cited safety concerns and stated that the religion of Islam represents and promotes a “theocracy, terrorist organization, not a religion.” In point of fact, I believe it is both and that is one of the many reasons it is very, very dangerous.
That was enough to set every leftie out there on fire. She got a LOT of attention over it. She even got a lengthy and actually reasonably fair write-up by the Washington Post. Those days don’t come back. According to The Arkansas Times, Morgan has been a stalwart for the Second Amendment and will likely make that a top issue for her campaign. She should… it’s a winner and one that many in Arkansas can solidly get behind. Morgan said she plans to hold an event toward the end of the month to speak with voters and discuss the issues they care deeply about. If she should get elected, she would be the first woman governor of Arkansas. Chew on that feminists.
Morgan is everything the left hates. A gorgeous, gun-toting woman who is a staunch conservative and is anti-Islam. She’s also a Christian and a Trump supporter. Morgan has served as national spokesperson for Citizens for Trump. Morgan claims that business is booming since her Muslim ban and that threats of a lawsuit by federal civil rights enforcers have failed to materialize. This woman has a serious set of stones.
Morgan said she made the decision to ban Muslims from her gun range after two customers she deemed suspicious visited it. She said their furtive behavior and cellphone ringtones of ‘Allahu Akhbar’ prompted her to revise her range’s policies. “We are dealing in lethal firearms,” Morgan told FoxNews.com at the time. “I’m not going to let a Nazi shoot in here, or a Ku Klux Klan member in here, either. I understand that not all Muslims are terrorists,” she said at the time. “I also believe there are as many Muslims who do not know what is in their Koran as there are Christians who do not know what is in their Bible. Since I have no way of discerning which Muslims will or will not kill in the name of their religion and the commands in their Koran, I choose to err on the side of caution for the safety of my patrons.” She still stands by her views on this.
If Morgan wins the primary, she will become a political lightning rod overnight. The left is sure to pour millions of dollars into Arkansas, a la the Roy Moore method in Alabama, to defeat her. While she stands for many conservative principles including gun rights, they will zero in on her stance on Islam and Muslims. It’s unclear how Morgan will fare against Hutchinson, but one could certainly assume it’s going to be an interesting, and possibly raucous Republican primary. Get the popcorn ready and brace yourselves for virtue-signaling from the Dems.
