Todd Palin is Seen In Public For First Time Since Attack By His Son Track

Todd Palin, husband of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was seen out and about as he got ready to go snowmobiling with the family. This is the first time Todd Palin has been seen in public since his son, Track, viciously attacked him. Todd is all smiles, but he’s sporting a black eye and a cut across the bridge of his nose. Shame on his son for doing that. I can’t imagine what they are all going through. Track is 28. He attacked his father in December and was arrested for it. All of this was because his dad would not lend him a truck. Track was drinking and on prescription medication and Todd said no. Track proceeded to go to his parents’ home and beat his father into the ground.

“Trailering snowmachines to trailhead for trek out to the cabin… perfect way to usher in the new year! May 2018 be a year of breakthrough, joy & victory for all!” former Gov. Palin wrote in a Monday Instagram post. That’s a wonderful sentiment and I hope their family is healed in the coming year and they have a wonderful and prosperous 2018. That family has been through the wringer. They could use a really good year. The photo was of Todd, Sarah, daughter Piper and son Trig as they headed up to their weekend cabin in the family car. They look happy and like they are having a good time. That’s as it should be.

Track was slapped with criminal charges over attacking his dad and he was put in jail. He’s out now and under house arrest. As noted by the Daily Mail, Todd Palin had shied away from the public eye in the wake of the family conflict that began after his son Track Palin broke into the family home in late 2017. Can you blame him? They were already attacked as it was and now this. Every family has problems come up like this. But when you are famous, it makes it much more difficult to deal with.

After Todd told Track that he couldn’t have the truck, Sarah Palin called 911 and told the operator that her son was “freaking out and was on some type of medication.” According to the arrest affidavit, “Track told him he was (going to) come anyway to beat his a–.” The threat by his son caused Todd to get his gun. They didn’t let Track in the front door, so he came in a window. He got the gun away from Todd and beat the hell out of his father. That was after he tried to get his dad to shoot him. Todd couldn’t do it and took the beating.

Todd Palin was in a serious snowmobile accident a year ago that almost killed him. Now this. Track hit his father so hard in the head there was blood coming out one of his ears. He could have killed Todd. Finally, Todd was able to escape the house with Sarah and they locked themselves in a car outside until the police arrived.

Track held police off for about 15 minutes. He reportedly called the officers “peasants” and demanded that they disarm themselves before the standoff ended, resulting in Track Palin’s arrest on charges of first-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree assault. As stated before, he’s under house arrest after walking free from a pretrial facility five days after the attack when his friend, Kaleb Westfall, posted his bail of $5,000. Track has been arrested for domestic violence before. I hate to say it, but the judge needs to throw the book at the kid.

Court papers reveal that most of the Palin family have received protective orders from the state requiring Track to keep away from them and the family home in the wake of his attack on his father. Those orders were not requested by the family according to a source, but rather put in place by the state. Obviously, Track did not spend time with his family or his son over the holiday.
