Anti-Regime PROTESTS Spread In IRAN, Trump Supports Iranian People!!

Yesterday, thousands took to the streets in Iran to protest the Islamic regime. You’d never know it because most of the media panned it. Iran is no longer dealing with Barack Obama, who stood by and watched the mullahs slaughter people. President Trump came out with a strong message of support for the Iranian people and told Iran the world is watching. “Many reports of peaceful protests by Iranian citizens fed up with regime’s corruption & its squandering of the nation’s wealth to fund terrorism abroad. Iranian govt should respect their people’s rights, including right to express themselves. The world is watching! #IranProtests.”

Economic strife is prompting the protests. People took to the streets in Mashhad, Iran’s second-largest city and one of the holiest places in Shia Islam, on Thursday. The protests continued yesterday. The unrest spread to Tehran next and other cities as well. Police used water cannons in some cases to disperse the crowds. Iran slammed President Trump this morning for meddling in Iran’s affairs. Initially aimed against high prices, the anti-government protests quickly turned against the Islamic regime as a whole. Good.

At least 52 people have been arrested. On Saturday, tens of thousands of government supporters marched in cities across Iran in a show of strength for the regime. Many waved banners in support of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. But the smaller anti-regime protests continue around the University of Tehran. The US State Department condemned the arrest of peaceful protesters and urged “all nations to publicly support the Iranian people and their demands for basic rights and an end to corruption.”

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Ghasemi, dismissed the comments emanating from Washington, saying that the, “Iranian people give no credit to the deceitful and opportunist remarks of US officials or Mr Trump.” President Trump is refusing to re-certify Obama’s fake deal with the mullahs that was signed in 2015, amidst giving the largest terrorist regime on the planet billions of US dollars. They claimed it would curb Iran’s nuclear program, which of course it didn’t. It sped it up and emboldened these demons.

The Iranian deal was a huge part of Barack Obama’s legacy. To ensure it happened, he negotiated the release of radical Islamic terrorists and even scuttled Project Cassandra conducted by the DEA. He enabled Hezbollah to run drugs, weapons and slaves in South America and Mexico to keep the deal alive. He’s now being investigated over it.

State television said pro-government rallies were scheduled to be held in more than 1,200 cities and towns on Saturday. The government-sanctioned rallies have been held annually to mark the end of protests surrounding Iran’s disputed 2009 presidential election. They are fake and imposed by the brutal Islamic overlords there in Iran. Protesters at the time said the vote, which marked Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s re-election as president, was rigged and tens of thousands of people staged street protests for eight months. Obama turned his back on those people in favor of the mullahs.

President Trump is to be commended for supporting the Iranian people here against the mullahs. Video on social media shows just how passionate the protests have gotten, with open calls to end clerical rule and denunciations of the regime’s regional allies like Hamas and Hezbollah. Protesters shouting, “Death to Hezbollah!” can be heard. Social change, although small, is occurring in Iran slowly. This week, police in Tehran announced they will no longer be arresting women for disobeying strict Islamic dress codes. Instead of sending them to jail, they’ll be given re-education classes by the so-called “morality police.” Yeah, I would bet that means internment camps and torture. We can only pray that somehow major change comes to the oppressive regime and soon.

State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert posted a statement about the protests from her official Twitter account:

“U.S. strongly condemns arrest of peaceful protestors in #Iran, urges all nations to publicly support Iranian people. As [the president] said, longest-suffering victims of Iran’s leaders are Iran’s own people,” she tweeted.

“We are following reports of multiple peaceful protests by Iranian citizens in cities across the country,” the statement read. “Iran’s leaders have turned a wealthy country with a rich history and culture into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos. As President Trump has said, the longest-suffering victims of Iran’s leaders are Iran’s own people.”

“The United States strongly condemns the arrest of peaceful protesters,” the statement continued. “We urge all nations to publicly support the Iranian people and their demands for basic rights and an end to corruption.”

“On June 14, 2017, Secretary Tillerson testified to Congress that he supports ‘those elements inside of Iran that would lead to a peaceful transition of government. Those elements are there, certainly as we know.’ The Secretary today repeats his deep support for the Iranian people,” the statement concluded.

Iran is on the verge of war with everyone on the planet except their allies Russia, China and North Korea. They are rushing to build up their nuclear program and military to get ready for what they see as an apocalyptic end-times battle. Iran will never be free again, unless the radical Islamists are removed from power there. I pray for the Iranian people and that they can throw off the oppressive chains of dogmatic theocratic rule.
