President Trump’s National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster has decided that Susan Rice did nothing wrong when she unmasked the identities of Trump transition officials. This guy needs to be fired… yesterday. Two intelligence officials have purportedly told Bloomberg’s Eli Lake that McMaster feels this way. My contacts have also told me he said this and McMasters is also supposedly firing Trump friendly people and keeping those that are deep staters. I have no way to verify this, but it’s all over the place out there and coming from multiple sources.

President Trump feels the exact opposite way about Susan Rice and this is sure to bring about a showdown between Trump and McMaster. When Rice denied that the unmasking was political in nature, Trump brushed that off. “Does anyone really believe that?” he said. “Nobody believes that, even the people that try to protect her in the news media.” That seems pretty clear to me. It will be interesting to see if McMaster is sent packing as he should be over this.

From Breitbart:

President Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster has reportedly concluded that former Obama official Susan Rice did nothing wrong by unmasking the identities of Trump transition officials in conversations with Russian officials.

Two United States intelligence officials told Bloomberg’s Eli Lake that McMaster has concluded that Rice did nothing wrong.

That assertion is at odds with Trump’s thinking, as he repeatedly raised the Rice story during speeches and media interviews.

“I think the Susan Rice thing is a massive story,” Trump said in an interview with the New York Times, suggesting that it was possible that she may have committed a crime.

On April 12, Trump used the story to defend his accusations that the Obama administration was spying and leaking on his transition team in an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo.

“When you look at Susan Rice and what’s going on and so many people are coming up to me and apologizing now,” Trump said. “They say, ‘You know, you were right when you said that.’”

And it gets worse if you can believe it. McMaster allowed former President Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice to maintain her security clearance to access classified information even though President Trump thought otherwise. McMaster sent an official letter to Rice that informed her she would maintain unfettered access to classified information, according to a report from Circa’s Sara Carter. President Trump was not aware of this according to two White House officials and an intelligence official.

Rice’s access was questioned by at least one official because of an ongoing investigation into her activities in reportedly unmasking Trump officials’ conversations with Russia during the presidential transition. Rice and McMaster seem awful chummy and if I were the President, I’d be showing McMaster the door right about now. He looks and acts like an enemy from within.
