is that this "non-story" has been allowed to dominate the news cycles, along with the Israeli bombings of innocent women and children.

That the MSM is allowed to form these debates in the terms that they choose is the damning factor.

Gamecock doesn't dwell on what is sad. He acts to make things happy!

One of the BIG stories of my whole adult life is liberals falsely calling Republicans racist. Here, a republican chooses to mimic that meme to attack another, and, except for me, Blackwell and Lewis (that I know of) other republicans choose to inferentially affirm the meme by joining in the Duncan, establishment republicans that always hated Reagan and Rush, liberals and the msm chorus of "Saltsman has bad judgment."

Rather than fighting back against the sad and damning. Blackwell understood what the proper response was. Yes, its a story alright. An ongoing sad story of republicans that have surrendered to the an MSM that we could beat if we had spines and were willing to be called bigots falsely. We get called it anyway.

So what is sad to me are my friends that seem to want to stay sad for fear of pissing off the PC police and being sadder.

Jason Lewis precisely echoes gamecock on this in hour three from Monday's show.

Mike dreamt of a White Christmas and didn't get it. He now dreams of comments that say, right on, let's fight and be happy!

    Happy New Year brother!

Amnesty, forcing out Edwards, Swift Boats, etc ad infinitem (I think I wrote a column on it) And now we have Blackwell's statement to run with and an audience of only 160 that need be reached, rather than the millions we were successful in reaching on many of the above issues.

Dave, WE ARE PART OF THE MEDIA NOW. WHAT WE DO IS MEDIA. ALL MEDIA STARTS SMALL AND GROWS AND WE HAVE SEEN WHAT WE CAN DO DESPITE OUR SIZE. EVEN RUSH IS "SMALL" COMPARED TO THE MSM AND SEE WHAT HE HAS DONE.

We need to oppose the MSM, by reporting the truth, not cry woe is us.

Imagine if all of Redstate, TMR, R412, etc echoed Blackwell and Lewis (and I am sure many others that I simply haven't heard of. Heck, I haven't even heard the MSM speak of it!) rather than the "poor judgment" line.

If everytime one that feels this way actually uses their air time to attack the implication rather than Saltsman? We can do like Jesse Jackson, and re-ask the question that the media asks, to ourselves and then answer that question.

I have seen it done and I have done it myself on broadcast radio shows when I have been a guest.

Too much negativism on the right. People don't choose to go with dour people. They choose optimists and people that will fight.

The callers on C-Span that attacked the Republican that was spewing the "poor judgment" line, defending Rush and chastising the Republican for not defending Rush that I told you about yesterday is what I am talking about.

The people see the truth and wonder why the GOP doesn't stand up for itself. haven't we had enough of that with Bush's new tone and Maverick's?

    Join me in the fight.

Gamecock simply cannot abide pessimism. My misery does not love company!

    God bless

This was intended as a pep talk.

    Sometimes I need them too.
