New Immigration Bill; The Death of the Republican Party!

Tagged:

As the title reads if this bill passes over the next 8 to 10 years we will see an end to our two party system and the death of the Republican Party.

10 to 30 million new Americans over the next decade, Two-thirds of which will choose the Democrat Party due to entitlements, misinformation, and peer pressure. That’s a drastic redefinition of our country and the utter evaporation of the Republican Party. That is something we just can not allow to happen!

I have no doubt this fact is at the forefront of Senator Kennedy’s (and other liberal's) agenda and why they’re so happy to expedite this bill though.

A fact we all may want to remind our Republican representatives as they weigh their decision.

As Erick at Redstate.com and others have said there is no bill yet and we don’t know exactly how the House will react but we should be extremely mindful of the unintended consequences this type of bill would have on America. A one party entitlement government and the collapse of the United States of America as we know it!

You are so right. I have been a Republican for 25 years and I am watching it suicide. If the Republican Party passes this bill, I will resign from the Republican Party and will not support any Republican who votes yest on this bill. If the Republcan Party wants to destroy America, I will vote for Democrats to make sure it happens since voting for a Republcan is no better.

... in order to judge the content of this not-yet-released-but-already-endorsed-by-many piece of legislative craftsmanship:

It has the finger-prints of Senator Teddy "Blonde in a Pond" Kennedy (Commie-MA) all over it. And given Senator Fat Boy's record on immigration lo these last 42-or-so years, it's a pretty safe bet to assert that if Teddy is fer it, then all patriotic Americans should be a-gin it.

Final piece of advice - let us never again trust anyone with the last name "Bush" with any elected office higher than city council.

That is all.

So libs, how's that binding congressional resolution to STOP THE WAR!TM coming along?

and elsewhere compare the Republican self-lobotomizing to having a Samurai warrior commit slow suicide by carving out his guts with his sword.

I am increasingly convinced this bill will not survive in its current form and perhaps not at all.

Unless we are being subjected to the greatest bipartisan ruse of all time, there are too many diverse voices in opposition. The content interpretation is characterized much differently depending on the orator. Together, that spells trouble for reconciling the final bill.

The gaps to bridge are just too large and the voices in opposition are growing to a crescendo. Once the phones ring incessantly in D.C. positions will change.

Should this survive, I truly believe you can also count the days until McCain's campaign is over. His outburst with Cornyn during negotiations as published by WaPo will be the Coupe de Gras with Party faithful.
