FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Political Blog " The Minority Report Blog" is Launched

Los Angeles, February 1, 2007 - Bloggers today unveiled The Minority Report Blog (theminorityreportblog.com). The site will bring a decidedly different perspective on political news and events as seen by numerous seasoned blog contributors.

The Minority Report Blog views are generally aligned with Republican policies and conservative political perspectives. However, the site provides an opportunity for serious comments from users across the political spectrum. It will also provide links to political news headlines and other related sites of interest

"We saw the relegation of Republican party to minority status as an opportunity' said The Minority Report Blog founder Steven Foley, "An opportunity to provide commentary from a different perspective with the aim of regaining the majority and holding it".

As said in our About section; The Minority Report is a web site devoted to politics in the United States. Since the prevailing wisdom seems to be that the United States Government should be involved in everything, everywhere, The Minority Report covers a wide range of topics.

On November 7, 2006, Democrats won enough seats to take control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, the two halves of our legislature. Largely Redstate alumni, we saw an opportunity for partisan hacks such as ourselves to focus on the effect of minority status on the Republican Party, and on sane people generally.

In short, The Minority Report is primarily for news and discussion about Congress. We also spend a lot of time on the impact that the statesmen stumbling about those illustrious chambers have on the rest of us.

I hope you’ll stay a while and get to know the place. Along with a very talented and informed group of writers - TMR has plans to continue to grow and develop new features, engage in issues and policies with the very people who create and effect change in said issues and continue to provide you the best in news and analyses found in and around the blogosphere!

So whether you make us your permanent home, use us to find breaking news for your own blog or just pop in from time to time comment or polish up and sharpen your argument...

Welcome and Enjoy!

Now sign up and get to posting!

Sincerely,
Steven Foley and the Entire TMR Team.

As I said the other day, this is a well put together site, easy to use and attractive. Thoughtful articles and I really appreciate the ability to differentiate between reporting and opinion. A distinction sorely missing from the MSM! And the members I have seen are among the best.
