The "It may be too early to talk about this" Open Thread...

Yeah, it may be too early, but I'm going to put this out there anyway as my oh-so humble opinion.

I think it's entirely fair to say, even at this early stage in the post-Bush-43 era, that "Compassionate Conservatism" (a.k.a. Big-Government Republicanism) - at least as practiced by Dubya - has been a total, complete, thorough, unmitigated, comprehensive catastrophe for the GOP and, thus, the nation and deserves to be relegated, unlamented, to history's dustbin with extreme prejudice and all deliberate speed.

Further - and this is a promise, not a threat - should "Compassionate Conservatives" win the coming battle for the GOP's heart and soul I will be gone faster than poop through a goose.

Feel free to discus.

3rd party is one drastic step though.

Unfair. Unbalanced. Unmedicated.

I'm talking my family and I taking up residence either in some quiet little "tax haven" somewhere, erm, tropical or (the other extreme) "Grid 27" in Maine.
