Update: Just a reminder, if you can stomach it, here is how "48" reacted in 2004.

I wasn't going to post a link to this latest bit of idiocy from the left moonbatistan, but what the heck?

So, treat this as your opportunity to answer back the Obamoron's request for unity. If you need some inspiration, you can always visit my favorite source and troll through the comments - some of them are simply delicious.

My response (below the fold)...

After 8 years of the most vial, disgusting, hate filled rhetoric and the systematic dismantlization of a presidency Americans have ever unleashed on a man, based on nothing more than a juvenile perception that he had stolen an election I'm frankly amazed that you and the left would be calling for unity!!!

After hearing this my first inclination is to bash you square in the nose (figuratively of course) the level of hypocrisy by the foot-stomping-moonbat left never ceases to amaze!

Although I was among the first to join my colleagues on the right to express a willingness to not take the same low road the left did after 2000 and 2004 and to give Obama a chance to prove he can govern... I'm unwilling and quite frankly unable to forget about past indiscretions and fall in line to worship "The One"

Expectations are unbelievably high and if Obama can't deliver you bet I'm going to be right there to report it to the world!

With that, my response is simple: Request Denied!

I confess to a great deal of internal struggle regarding your call to unity. I have very little free emotional capital once I tithe to guns and religion. I hope you understand my dilemma.

However, there may be a way out. Here in country bumpkin land, I am starting a dove rasiing operation which I hope to market to Obama friendly movers and shakers. I hire out my pedigree turtle doves along with discretely placed audio equipment. At every Obama appearance, the superbly trained doves descend beautifully on a swooning audience as the speakers boom out: "This is My Beloved Son, in Whom I Am Well-Pleased."

For a modest piece of change, these symbols of hope can be yours.
