Yep, that's right folks. This has nothing to do with our permissive, smut-fulled, pimps-and-hoes culture that tells kids the "baby bump" is the new fashion accessory among the unmarried and hip.

And certainly we cannot lay any fault at the feet of the nominal adults who hand birth control to 14-year olds with a wink and tell them to "be careful" if they can't keep their legs shut - essentially enabling the (statutory) rape of children.

(BTW, have I mentioned that the oldest of these new "moms to be" is 16? Age of consent in MA == 16)

And of course it has nothing to do with generous, taxpayer-provided daycare, food, housing, medical care, etc. etc. etc. these bastard factories and their "work product" receive.

Nope - according to correspondent Michelle Miller of the CBS Evening News it's all George Freaking Bush's fault.

Behold! - the logical end-result of Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Keep in mind sheeple, these are the same people telling you Iraq is a disaster, the economy is in the tank, and the The Obamassiah isn't a communist.

to tie this event to Global Warming? Saw a headline and article the other day on Drudge that claimed that GW caused the tomato salmonella outbreak and then Lou Dobbs claims that President Bush should be impeached because of the tomato thing. Come on, people, there's just got to be a way to tie this one to GW too!

but isn't the "ailing economy" ailing more in the People's Republic of Massachusetts more than the rest of the country? And, since the PRM is entirely a one-party state, that party being the Democrats, wouldn't the blame fall upon the Democrats?

But there's three rules that govern all political thought (and forgive me for stretching the meaning of that word to it's breaking point and perhaps beyond) here in the PRM:

1) The Republicans are always wrong.
2) The Democrats are never wrong.
3) When in doubt, refer to Rules 1 and 2.

Oh, and when in a bind, just shout BUSH LIED!! as loud as you are able. Those around you will simply nod in approval, pat you on the back and move along.

People need a good scapegoat

Who will it be once GWB is not President? The evil banks and credit card companies? How about the evil auto leasers or perhaps the oil companies? Certainly, Obama is helping folks build the enemy list and at the ready to solve all of life's problems with government. Is that what people want another crutch? If so, life will indeed get worse before better.

This is about traditional family values and parenting. Relying on other people for all your needs not only destroys self reliance but it takes away personal liberty.

Talk to your kids, mentor and inspire them. Sacrifice is not the time spent at work buying more for your family. It is the time spent with your kids showing them they matter more than anything else; especially money.

Gloucester, you have been a beacon of traditional values for ages. It's time to regain that mantle and shed the accoutrements of dependence.

I get a chuckle thinking what will come of the multitudes (at least here in the People's Republic) sporting those 1/20/09 bumper stickers on their pricey imports on the 21st of next January.

But, as you allude, I'm sure they will have plenty of scapegoats lined-up by then - if they don't have them already.
