Either Sen. Chris Dodd (D, of course - CT) is vying for Babs Boxer's long-held title of "Stupidest Sentient Being Ever Elected to the United States Senate" - or he thinks we're all morons.
Then again, given Dodd's past history perhaps he thought "V.I.P. Status" made him eligible for an extra lap-dance, or some such.
Really, I could believe any one of those three - but given that he's a Senatorial legacy liberal I'm leaning toward "he thinks we're stupid".
And sadly, he's probably right.
