The link to the ABC Good Morning America broadcast is available; it took me about five minutes of Yahoo searching to find. Watching that link, I discovered that the words of Axelrod as widely reported were accurate. Examination of that tape discloses NO editing -- no attempt to hide his words. He did admit that Sen Obama interjected race into the discussion by mentioning that he "didn't look like those other presidents on those dollar bills."
Axelrod pointed out that Sen Obama is an African-American. Period!
Not content to merely spread a lie, however, the website continues in the comments section to add weight to the lie. A poster calling himself John 2000 pointed out that he could only find one other reference to the "Muslim" comment by Axelrod. The quote as he explained was:
"He’s not from central casting when it comes to candidates for president of the United States. He’s new to Washington. Yes, he’s African-American half black Kenyan-Muslim and half Hawaiian Christian white-boy."
And the website that he links to would "appear" to be the Fort Wayne News -- a respected newspaper. Wow, a respected newspaper was not captured by the MSM and was willing to tell the truth about Sen Obama.
The only problem is, that is NOT a respected newspaper, but a HATE site called ANGRYWHITEBOYS.ORG masquerading as a news site.
Either John 2000 has been duped by a hate site into believing that he had confirmation of Axelrod's words, or he is a part of the duplicity. Regardless of the answer to that question, both sites are propagating a lie.
Now, I do not have to tell the readers of TMR/THSR that I am not in any way a supporter of Sen Obama. I believe him to be one of the most dangerous presidential candidates ever nominated by either major political party.
Sen Obama is a Marxist/Socialist, nurtured from childhood in the blame-America-first tradition of his parents and teachers. As a child he was mentored by a know Communist in Hawaii, sought out in college Marxist professors and friends, and immersed himself as an adult in "Black Liberation Theology" from a minster who hates white America.
However, when "conservatives" on the internet perpetrate a hoax to damage the Democratic nominee, they are in fact damaging their own side in the political debate. It almost calls into question the motivation of the perpetrators -- but that would be a conspiracy -- and I choose not to go there.

and this kind of stupidity earns a special kind of white-hot contempt. There are a lot of real reasons to dislike and work against Senator Obama. We don’t need to make stuff up. It’s all there already.
These hacks are going to get labeled as mainstream conservatives by O and the MSM. That pisses me off.
Fighting for conservatism one day at a time.
