that should place Romney in the cat-bird seat for the nomination. The only other major name that would hold the same credentials is Gramm, but he stepped in it pretty good last week with the “mental recession” comments (even though they were correct). A McCain/Romney ticket would be very solid. [And no, I don’t give a crap about the so-called “social conservatives” that would freak out about Romney. I think he can become a more than able advocate for the culture of life.]
