Attacking John McCain. The Return of Desperate Democrat Politics

Tagged:

As conservatives some of us have our differences with John McCain. We indeed continue to hope his Vice Presidential decision results in providing foresight of a more traditionalist future. That said, on matters of national security and the very concept of keeping this country safe John McCain is a principled, experienced vanguard.

It is therefore not surprising we have begun to see the attacks from Barack Obama's surrogates. The mantra of hope and change has indeed brought us to a new level of despicable lows including this;

"A lot of people don't know… that McCain made a propaganda video for the enemy while he was in captivity. Putting that bit of disloyalty aside, what exactly is McCain's military experience that prepares him for being commander in chief? Americablog's John Aravosis

Please read on.

It is not surprising these perpetrators are caught in flagrante delicto. That is indeed part of the strategy which permits Mr. Obama to claim plausible deniability. He will no doubt deplore these attacks on Mr. McCain's character. However, this will not result in any aeonian cease and desist. In fact, they will continue with more remarks such as these;

...nothing equals the astounding tact with which his claque on the press bus avoids the topic of McCain’s collaborating with his Vietnamese captors after he’d been shot down.(snip)

On matters such as the aforementioned remarks Mr. Obama will attempt to distance himself, opining on his disagreement with their tenor. He will preach and educate us on the free speech rights of these perpetrators while captiously demurring on their content. After all, these are the forces which have propelled Mr. Obama to the precipice of his party's nomination. They define Obama's primal political attraction and are the face of his "change" apothegm. Nothing could be more despicable.

Mr. McCain's has been tested under fire and served this country more than admirably. He has shown an acutely penchant demeanor on matters of defense in both his long Senate record and on the war in Iraq. We therefore may agree to disagree on other matters but on this I stand shoulder to shoulder with Mr. McCain.

We can not relinquish our country to the forces of dishonest elucidation and Marxist proclivities. I for one, would rather die first.

If they hit McCain too hard they might turn TMR pro-McCain :-)

If you're seeing shades of gray, it's because you're not looking close enough to see the black and white dots.

But then, BrooksRob says that we are nothing more than an "Echo Chamber" so we must all be in agreement over the good senator already.

I wish I'd gotten the pleasure of booting him.

he seemed like a good one to break in the spiked club on.

Fighting for conservatism one day at a time.

I will wait on the VP pick for a final decision. At least we can then see beyond the present to future.

What really scares me is Mr. McCain on judges, That decision could impact generations. Which McCain will showup? The one who said he would pick traditionalists or the one that will compromise for political expediency and harmony? The possibility for generations of judicial tyrrany are frightening.

Obama will certainly provide a Kangaroo court that is the onl certainty.

Wes Clark's latest, erm, dumb bomb attack was pretty much all I needed to get me to do something unimaginable a month ago - actually pull the lever for Johnny Mac.

Now if Senator Maverick could only keep his mouth shut between now and November 4th...
