Snowe Job Part Deux; Mount Olympia (Snowe) Eructs

Well the drama is over. In case you are a little slow and didn’t figure it out last year, Olympia Snowe voted with other Democrats in the Senate Finance Committee to destroy the health care system. In what is sure to be more bad days ahead, health care stocks took a dive today as market participants start to put odds on their long term financial position (personally, I would short them).

It was all so reasonable though, as Mitch McConnell explains to us. Loosely translated, Mitch opines we should not stand in the way of legislation even though we know it is destructive, contains massive tax increases, ridiculous budget tricks, destroys the quality of care and resoundingly moves us towards socialized medicine. Atta-boy, Mitch. Don’t even remind the folks of Republican’s alternative plan and run cover for Olympia.

Two fine reasons not to contribute to the NRSC.

I can respect philosophical disagreements rooted in factual explication. What I can not respect is someone who sacrifices fundamental value for their own grandiosity. I suppose that is why Obama and Snowe hit it off so well.

I can't think of one fundamental reason why Snowe would vote for this- other than her own self-elevation. She is the darling of Washington politicians and has been noted as one of the most courted members of Congress. But by whom? It is those who seek to destroy our rudimentary liberties and steal our hard earned wages through egregious government, excessive policies. It is Pelosi, Reid and Obama whom Ms. Snowe grovels at the feet of for the crumbs and table scraps of self exhalation.

She is the product of outrecuidance, and denizen of a dying, self loathing group of so-called Republicans whose days are numbered. When the house of Obama falls, she will be swept out with the whirlwind. Good riddance to the vainglorious operatives.

One can only wonder what the people of Maine are thinking?

Olympia Snowe is a disgrace as a Republican. She has openly cast a vote for socialism. I haven't been this teed off at a Republican since Jorge Arbusto was pushing his amnesty bill.
