That's the way it goes in science no ?
1.You come up with an idea.
2. Tell everyone either get with the program or die quick and ugly
3. Start looking at the data. See it doesn't fit.

I was trapped today and found myself watching the West Wing. Not my usual brand of horror, no zombies, vampires or guys with knives for fingers still it had a very scary premise and if it hadn't of been horribly boring it would have been scary indeed.

Anyway I caught one scene and thought anyone could enjoy it.

Government Waives Regulations Impeding Border Fence

Well I am going out on a limb and speculate this isn't going to do much to bridge the chasm between technologists and lawyers. Its also probably not going to do much about dispelling the impression that they resemble ants at a picnic.

There was that big blow up over Huckabee not being up to date on affairs in Pakistan. To be fair our country is not one of geographiles. At some point though if you are going to run the country it might help if you knew a little about our close neighbors.

Every so often I like to rethink my choices on candidates. It just seems to be a solid idea to ask yourself the questions again and see if the answers are the same. Things change with time. Hopefully as time passes you learn new things. A disclaimer I am a Rudy guy.

The top tier criteria for me

1. Expected effectiveness in office vs Alignment with personal views.

I.E. The get what I want stat

This is a combined stat. I wouldn't want to elect Hillary even though she could be inconceivably horrifyingly effective in office.

Or maybe it was Mr. Mustard, Ah well give it a few years it will all change around again. If I didn't find this really really sad and pathetic it would be horribly funny.

They say that this month sees the lowest extent of ice cover for more than a century.

The Arctic climate varies naturally, but the researchers conclude that human-induced global warming is at least partially responsible.
