Stay Classy "Reverend"

Gateway Pundit has more on the "Baptist Minister" here.

Re: Rev. Wrong...

I'm beginning to think he's on somone's campaign payroll - only I can't figure out if it's McPain's or Clinton's. Clinton certainly has the cashola but she's going to need some of those nutter votes in the general, whereas JMac is too cash poor to match the Rev's, erm, table stakes.

It's a mystery.

John Bolton: US should bomb Iranian camps

John Bolton, America’s ex-ambassador to the United Nations, has called for US air strikes on Iranian camps where insurgents are trained for war in Iraq.

Mr Bolton said that striking Iran would represent a major step towards victory in Iraq. While he acknowledged that the risk of a hostile Iranian response harming American’s overseas interests existed, he said the damage inflicted by Tehran would be “far higher” if Washington took no action.

“This is a case where the use of military force against a training camp to show the Iranians we’re not going to tolerate this is really the most prudent thing to do,” he said. “Then the ball would be in Iran’s court to draw the appropriate lesson to stop harming our troops.”

This Morning Drudge's headline reads: $200 OIL PREDICTION ROCKS MARKET The story from Yahoo entitled Oil hits record $122 on $200 oil prediction, supply concerns outlines the fear in the market and does it's best to frighten the bejesus out of folks with speculation about $200 oil. What this piece, and many like it, lack is any explanation of how the free market and supply and demand work!!! But I suppose since the media in this country (and really most country's to be honest) have little to no clue how these practices work... it's a bit silly for me to expect them to do anything else but scare people into submission, especially in an election year!

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) is calling on Republicans to seek "real change to avoid a real disaster" in the wake of another Democratic victory in a special election on Saturday.

In a letter to House Republicans posted on www.newt.org, Gingrich urges House leaders to call an “emergency meeting” of House Republicans to address what he describes as a “catastrophic collapse of trust in Republicans.”

Re: GOP Disaster

It won't be just this fall. It could extend for multiple election cycles unless the GOP leadership decides that it is time to stand for something.
