So today, we learned that John McCain does not intend to pander to full blooded conservatives; rather he intends to continue to harness his Maverick, BiPartisan, NewTone image to convince his friends in the media that he's really not one of "those" Republicans. The effect of this of course may be that he does indeed get elected to the White House, but by distancing himself from mainstream Republicans as he intends to do, he is going to kill the GOP's prospects downticket. Where has he strayed off of the reservation this time, you ask? What has he done to warrant an entire blog?

It would appear that that forces of the Ronulan Empire are all set to play Lt. Steve Maryk to the presumptive GOP nominee's John Sidney McQueeg.

Yesterday afternoon, the US Navy contacted his parents who live here in S. Florida & asked if he had contacted them. Up to now, he is still missing and unaccounted for, along with his buddies.

Army Col. David Paschal, commander of 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, said that as security improves in the strategic northern province, changes are happening in the economy and in governance that help cement the security progress in place.
