Carter Visit Bolsters Hamas Terrorists, Earns Israeli Disdain

Tagged:

Jimmy Carter actually offered to act as an intermediary between Israel & Hamas in his ceaseless quest to become relevant---at best his meddlesome intrusiveness deserves Israeli disdain. Which it is showing him in generous portions. Read on.......

AlBush...

This is actually pretty typical from Dubya - he's doing something idiotic 3-years too late to help himself or anyone else politically and only after public opinion seems to be turning toward the "right" on the issue.

I have to tell y'all, I really don't think I'm going to miss the guy when he's gone - except insofar as President Maverick is likely to have me pining for the good old days of GWB within a year.

Barack Obama Has a Point (No Kidding)

Barack Obama has a point. There are a group of people who are seeing it all slip away. They grab onto what they can hold and use these illusory points of reference as a substitute for genuine power and verifiable free will. They indulge in bong hits of false consciousness to the point where they genuinely believe that reality is the wasteland for individuals not up to the task of handling the narcotic of intellectual self-justification.

Barack missed the metro train when he assigned these characteristics to small towns scattered throughout the American Hinterland of Central and Western Pennsylvania. America’s urban cohabitations are where people in America have lost the ability to direct their own lives. They are seas of anonymity and get as close as any part of America comes to being zones of hard determinism amongst The Land of the Free.

Microsoft Responds to Vista 0xC1F5 STOP Bug

In my last blog entry on technology I raged against the Microsoft machine because of the Vista 0x0000C1F5 STOP error message which completely crippled my Vista system and wouldn't allow me to boot into anything except Windows 2000 Professional -- even from the DVDs.

Barack Obama: Half Right (Because I’m Feeling Generous)

Senator Barack Obama )D-IL)

Much has been made over the last few days about the comments that Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) made to a group of über-wealthy fundraisers in San Francisco. Much of the focus of ire (from both the right side of the political spectrum and Senator Clinton supporters) revolves around the idea that Senator Obama believes that people “cling to guns and religion” when times are bad (See link here for text and mp3). Much has also been discussed about Senator Obama’s dismissal of the voters in rural Pennsylvania as racist (See link here for text and video). As I stated in the title, I’m feeling a little generous today. I’m willing to give Obama a pass. I’m willing to believe that he was simply misunderstood and taken out of context as he and his supporters are now claiming.

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed

Today at The Conservative Bloggers Briefing Conference Call, actor / author / comedian / public speaker... extraordinaire, Ben Stein, attended to promote his new movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed about Intelligent design vs. Darwinism and challenging the orthodoxy in the scientific and educational communities that have stifled free thought, free speech, and the ability to freely search for truth no matter where that might lead.

Ben was accompanied by one of the movie's producers Walt Ruloff who assured us that both sides of the issue were covered equity. He said of the 250 or so scientists they interviewed 1/2 of those were Darwinists. He also brought our attention to the a movement which is gaining support "that would ensure the freedom of teachers to help students understand, analyze, critique, and review in an objective manner the scientific strengths and scientific weaknesses of theories of biological and chemical evolution." called The Academic Freedom Act. So far this legislation is working it's way through states such as: Florida, Louisiana, Missouri, and I heard South Carolina as well.

Jimmy Carter Embraces Hamas Official

From Breitbart

Quote:
Former President Jimmy Carter embraced a leading Hamas figure Tuesday, according to participants in a meeting that infuriated Israeli officials already upset by Carter's freelance Mideast peace mission.

Carter also laid a wreath at the grave of Yasser Arafat, whom the Bush administration and many Israelis blame for the breakdown of peace talks seven years ago and the violence that followed.

Obama "privately bewildered that anyone took offense" at his offensive remarks???

The Wall Street Journal has an excellent clear-eyed analysis by John Fund who asks some fundamental questions. But first of all, he notes an astounding piece of evidence that perhaps Obama lives in some sort of alternative universe.

Quote:
Barack Obama's San Francisco-Democrat comment last week – about how alienated working-class voters "cling to guns or religion" – is already famous. But the fact that his aides tell reporters he is privately bewildered that anybody took offense is even more remarkable.

Well, he's back.

Mike Huckabee that is. He has launched Huck PAC. The Mission Statement of Huck PAC is:
Huck PAC is founded on the principles that make America great: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Our Republican Party embodies these ideas and is best suited to lead America forward. Huck PAC is committed to helping Republicans regain control of the House and Senate, regain a majority of governorships and elect John McCain as the 44th President of the United States.
