Starbucks Goes Square


Talk about partnerships and cross-promotion! Starbucks, the iconic premium coffee emporium, is always packed with patrons sipping lattes as they maneuver through the intertubes. The commercially astute can now increase their sales with Square’s credit card readers, which are available at 7,000 Starbucks locations for $10 each. Users can just attach the device to their I-phone and get a totally mobile point of sale device-ideal for businesses that go to where the customers are to close their sales.
